The Best Coffee Spots in Chiang Mai

As I’m sure you are all aware and most likely why you’re reading this blog post is because Chiang Mai is known for being the digital nomad capital of Thailand; a chilled out location full of quirky cafés with great coffee and excellent Wi-Fi.

We spent a good couple of weeks in Chiang Mai and have collected a number of coffee shops that are perfect for a days work.

Bear in mind, these are not necessarily in order as the drinks sold at each are amazing!

1. Nine-One Coffee

Address: Nimmana Haeminda Rd Lane 11 Soi

Opening Hours: 8.30am – 7.30pm

Friendly hosts and a relaxed atmosphere.

2. Ristr8to

Address: 14 Nimmanhaemin rd soi 3 Suthep Mueang Chiang Mai 50200, Thailand.

Opening Hours: 8.30am – 7.30pm

The coolest glasses and huge variety (some a little but sound awesome).

3. Clay Studio Coffee in the Garden

Address: 36 Prapokkloa Rd, Tambon Phra Sing, Amphoe Mueang

Opening Hours:
8.00am – 6.00pm

Peaceful gardens and good photo ops.

4. Taste Cafe

Address: 2 Chiang Rai Rd, Thesaban Nakhon Chiang Mai.

Opening Hours:
8.00am – 7.00pm

Out of the way but quiet and authentic.

5. Manifreshto (not coffee)

Address: 14/2 Nimmanhaemin soi3, Sutep, Maung.

Opening Hours:
11.00am – 9.00pm

The most amazing smoothies but little workspace.

6. Catmosphere Cat Cafe

Address: Huaykaew Rd, Thesaban Nakhon

Opening Hours: 10.00am – 8.00pm

Cute cats and good Wi-Fi – need I say more?

7. Nimmanian Club

Address: Su Thep, Mueang Chiang Mai District

Opening Hours:
9.00am – 7.00pm

Good music and good vibes.

8. SS1254372 cafe

Address: 22/1 Nimmanhaemin road
Opening Hours: 8.00am – 8.00pm

Decor was great but little space inside to sit. Never fear though, there’s space outside.

Most of these cafes are all outside of the old town and on or near Nimmanhaemin Road near the university so you’ll more than likely be among quiet, working students
